Commercial Sales & Broker Engagement
Maya joined ICBL January 1, 2022 and is responsible for customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives in the business sector. This includes responsibility for developing and executing strategic growth plans and sales strategies required for achieving financing targets across the business unit by aligning the Commercial Sales & Broker teams to work towards common goals.
Maya spent over eighteen years in Sales with one of the largest telecom providers in the Caribbean, where she developed a passion for working with business clients. She would have served in varying positions within the organization and led the business section.
In her previous role she would have developed and led the teams in achieving exponential growth in Business to Business targets by implementing change management strategies. Driven by the belief that business relationships are key to business sustainability and retention, Maya’s ability to establish long-term relationships for the organization with key vendors and clients, including multinational clients and Government led to exemplary results.
Maya holds a MBA (Marketing and Sales Management) from the University of Edinburgh Napier and a Bachelor in Linguistics and Management Studies from the University of the West Indies.
