Our current lives can be stressful, as we continue to operate under a curfew and adjust in the wake of new rules and guidelines due to COVID-19. ICBL understands the day-to-day challenges our customers may experience, and we are therefore actively seeking new ways in which we can make it easier for you to conduct business with us.

MANAGING YOUR ACCOUNTS  


The number of persons who have registered on our website portal to manage their accounts has grown exponentially since the beginning of the shutdown. Customers have discovered the ease in which they can make payments, renew policies and buy new home and motor policies from the comfort and safety of their homes. We applaud you and thank you for coming on board, as it makes good sense.

If you have not yet registered to manage your account on our web page, now would be a good time to do so. It’s also so very easy.

COVER NOTES NOW AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD


For your added convenience, we have now made it possible for you to download your COVER NOTE or your Certificate of Insurance from our website when you buy or renew your motor insurance. Additionally, we will send a copy to the Barbados Revenue Authority for validation at registration or renewal. We are very excited about this innovation, and we encourage you to register on the web portal to take advantage of this service, which allows you to stay home and stay safe.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE  

With the introduction of new guidelines for banking and grocery shopping etc. we are happy to advise that effective immediately until May 3rd 2020, our OMNIPLUS team will resume roadside assistance to our valued clients between the hours of 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. for jumpstarts and towing only. As usual, our team is to be contacted using 434-6004.


To maintain the requirements of physical/social distancing, when receiving a jumpstart by the OMNIPLUS team, we ask that you remain in your vehicle, and follow the instructions of the roadside assistant.
 
For motor accidents, we are accessible 24 hours a day by phone at 434-6004. During this period, assistance will be provided remotely. Claims forms are available for download on our website https://icbl.com/media/1663/omniplus-form-4-1.pdf

Please complete the form and send it to us by scanning and emailing it to claims@icb.com.bb or take a clear picture of the form and send it via WhatsApp using 256-1342 or 836-9573.

ADDITIONAL PAYMENT OPTIONS NOW AVAILABLE

We’re pleased to introduce an additional ICBL payment option, now that SurePay has announced the reopening of their branches.

Credit cards will now be accepted at SurePay online for customers with existing ICBL accounts at SurePay. Customers who are making payments towards general, life and health policies now have the option to use your visa enabled debit, direct debit or credit cards.

SUREPAY IN-PERSON PAYMENTS

With the reopening of SurePay branches, in-person payments are once again possible. Please note that you will be required to follow the alphabetically allotted day guidelines when doing business with SurePay in person.

For your safety, you are encouraged to utilize the SurePay online option, however, if you absolutely must visit a branch to make a payment towards your motor policy and require your cover note, please give us a call at 434-6000 to make your request and we will have it processed and emailed to you within 24 hours.
