Customer Appreciation Day at ICBL took on a different look this year. Instead of the usual celebratory activities such as entertainment, music, food, and drinks, the team at ICBL found a way to observe the safety protocols in place due to the global pandemic and still execute a day that honoured their valued customers.
The Marketing and Communications unit spent the day on an island-wide delivery tour, which saw eleven lucky customers, chosen from each parish across the island, receiving gift baskets. These customers were randomly chosen from all lines of business within the company.
At the office, costumed hosts greeted customers who visited to make cash payments and distributed refreshments and branded items. The company also ensured that all customers received virtual cards of appreciation by email.
Corporate Communications Specialist Sharleen Browne stated, “We could not let the current climate stop us from showing our customers how much we value them and appreciate their loyalty to us. We knew we had to adapt to make this day happen, and our customers understood this. They appreciated that we needed to operate differently this year and expressed that they were pleased with our efforts.”
Browne also noted that in addition to the deliveries of the gift baskets, a group of customers, who have exceptional driving records, were randomly selected to receive gift packages from the company.
