COVID -19 has redefined the way in which we conduct business in Barbados. As the leading insurance company, ICBL took the early decision to have our entire ICBL team, work remotely and close our offices, including branches in Six Roads and Black Rock, to walk-in business since March 23, 2020.  The Government has since mandated the closure of all businesses for the next two weeks except for essential services and a few exceptions.

So how do we take care of your needs while we work remotely? Our teams have prepared for this eventuality for some weeks, and we have therefore put a number of processes in place to keep our operations running effectively.

CONDUCTING YOUR BUSINESS WITH ICBL

  • Sign up today at https://client.icbl.com/ph3/login to activate a customer account, where you can pay, buy or renew any general insurance policy. 
  • Customer Service Representatives are accessible at 434-6000 and ready to provide service, guidance and answer queries relative to Health, Life, Motor, Property or any other lines of business. 
  • For roadside assistance (OMNIPLUS) call 434-6004. 

 
MAKING PAYMENTS

Cheques or cash are no longer payment options, but the followings methods are available. 
LIFE AND HEALTH POLICY PAYMENTS (individuals)

  • Direct Debit – Please speak with your ICBL agent directly to implement;
  • SurePay online;
  • FCIB online banking;
  • First Citizens online banking;
  • BPWCCUL branches only i.e. over the counter (for members only)
  • Republic Bank online.

 HOME AND MOTOR INSURANCE (individuals)

  • Wire transfers  Please email: icblcreditunit@icb.com.bb for banking details;
  • SurePay online;

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

  • For Omniplus roadside emergency assistance please call: 434-6004.  Our team will not be on the road, but will provide remote service as needed such as arranging tow services.  

MAKING MOTOR CLAIMS

  • Visit us online to download your claim form. https://icbl.com/claims/forms/ You can fill this out and sign it as usual, scan it or take a clear picture with your phone and return to us at: claims@icb.com.bb. You can send to us via WhatsApp using 256-1342 or 836-9573.


COVER NOTES 

  • We now have the ability to automate signed cover notes for both new business and renewals purchased online for private motor insurance only. 
  • For new business, please go to easyINSURE on the website (Create new motor product)
  • For renewals, please use the Client LogIn on the homepage. 

PURCHASE NEW BUSINESS

  • Visit our website and click on the easyINSURE button for a quote on Home and Motor Insurance
  • Call our Customer Service Representatives at 434-6000 for all queries.
