ICBL continues to prioritize the customer by improving its online services.  In February this year, the company announced that it expanded the range of policies available for payment online and increased the number of documents available for download when using the convenient ICBL easyCustomer portal.

Chief Operating Officer Rawle Knight said, “Our commercial customers also needed more convenient ways to make their payments.  By adding policies such as Marine Hull Insurance, Short Period Public Liability and Professional Indemnity to the portal, we are giving them valuable time back as there is no need to visit the office to make a payment.”

Knight also advised that the upgrades to the ICBL client portal are part of a continuing process of digitizing operations.  Noting that Travel Insurance and Residential Builders’ Risk were also available for payment online, he said that the company would continue to listen to the customers’ needs and make improvements that would benefit them.

“Not only do our customers want to pay online, but they want to get their documents easily. So, we’ve made renewal certificates, certificates of insurance, cover notes, and renewal notices for all products available for download as well. As a green company, this feature is significant as we reduce our paper usage,” said Knight.

ICBL’s digital enhancements also include the implementation of a Live Chat that connects customers to an insurance representative in real-time from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 24-hour access to a customer portal. This portal allows customers to register, view existing policies, and make payments towards a wide range of Private and Commercial policies, inclusive of Individual Life and Health. Additionally, customers can activate a new policy for a private residential property or motor vehicle. These digital enhancements and convenient options are all available for use on the ICBL website,
